Hey Dave,

I'm guessing the "litigative jackpot" is right on the money. As a parent, I'm willing to allow my child to get some bumps and bruises by trying new things. I think most parents are. It's just those jerks that want to make a buck or 2 million without working for it that have forced us into trading fun equipment in for "safe" equipment!

I'm still "working" on making my page more user friendly. My problem is that I have not figured out exactly what I want my pages to look like. As for my email, if one looks carefully enough through the links, one can find my email address (hint: not anywhere on the blog). You, however, know my email address, so I'm not too concerned. :) It's spam bots and internet crazies that I'm worried about!

By the way, I finally saw that you had left a response on my blog a couple weeks ago. Sorry I missed that. I finally responded.

BTW (again), where's your profile? And no link to email you? What gives?

Hey "Monotony,"
I feel your pain on this. While I understand and approve of the efforts to make children's play spaces safer, in the process it seems that we've all either become so hyper sensitive to something like scrapes and bruises, or else become drunk with anticipation of hitting the litigative jackpot.
